The default setup is depicted above. Any changes must be reported to and approved by the tool responsible. Always report if there is a problem with the probe health.

  • Cascade i67-100-GSG probes (will switch to MPI T67 in the future)
    • Always leave raised from chuck and separated from each other
    • Only to be replaced if damaged
    • Always ensure planarity w.r.t sample surface
    • Storage boxes with identifier and data are available at the station
  • Junkosha MWX0 cables (1200 mm long) with 1.85 mm interfaces
    • Always leave connected to probes, but capped and not connected to instruments
    • Only to be used in the probe station
    • Do not bend (critical minimum radius 4 cm) or twist
    • Envelope with test data and connector caps are available at the station
  • Karl Süss Probe Station
    • Always leave table in contact (lower) position
    • Do not put any stress on the table, it will move and destroy your sample and probes
    • Magnetically clamped probe positioners
    • Never use tape or glue, ever
